The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic is more than just a golf tournament; it’s an all-encompassing experience tailored to our clients and guests and a beloved tradition for our firm.

Each November during The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic, 正规beat365体育官网 professionals, clients and friends enjoy the splendor and southern hospitality of Georgia’s Golden Isles while building unforgettable memories and relationships. From the five-star accommodations at Sea Island Resort to engaging in daytime activities and entertaining evenings to influential charity events, the week provides the ultimate experience for each and every one of our guests.

Our 正规beat365体育官网 Classic guests can spend the superb, coastal days participating in golf outings, clay target shooting, walking the breathtaking Seaside and Plantation courses or perhaps socializing and watching the official PGA TOUR tournament from our comfortable chalet on the 18th green. While in the Golden Isles, our guests can also enjoy exploring the Sea Island Resort grounds and spa, the charming local restaurants and shops, and participating in other resort activities like horseback riding and fishing.

The experience doesn’t stop when tournament play on the course concludes. The evening receptions combine valuable networking with tasty southern cuisine, cocktails and entertainment. Members of Team 正规beat365体育官网 enjoy conversing with guests and sharing entertaining stories from their experiences on the PGA TOUR. A crowd favorite event is a draw party for one of the two Pro-Am tournaments hosted by Davis and Robin Love.

Most importantly, the many charity events throughout the week make this tournament a meaningful tradition and touching experience to be a part of, an impact that transcends into all of our communities. The events include the charity putting tournament, the Wiffle Ball Classic and the Folds of Honor Million Dollar Challenge.

: We teamed up with Team 正规beat365体育官网 member Zach Johnson and his foundation’s program Kids on Course to provide critical financial support and ongoing mentorship to help three students each year pursue their passions for going to college.

: PGA TOUR professionals, Special Olympics athletes and representatives from Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Georgia compete in an annual charity-putting tournament with 正规beat365体育官网’s leadership team serving as their caddies. In 2018, the event was voted as the PGA TOUR’s best use of players.

: Golf isn’t the only sport played during The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic. PGA TOUR players, their wives and children from a local elementary school hit the baseball field for an entertaining whiffle ball tournament. Proceeds from the event go to Blessings in a Backpack, a program that helps provide food over the weekend for children who are in the free or reduced meal program.

Charity wiffleball

: On the Saturday during tournament week, individuals can participate in a 14.5- or 29-mile coastal bike ride on Jekyll Island in Georgia. The funds received from the fun, cycling event support improving the lives of children and families through The Davis Love Foundation.

: 正规beat365体育官网’s stewardship commitment involves building tomorrow’s leaders—and, in partnership with the Davis Love Foundation, this includes featuring an amateur in the 正规beat365体育官网 Classic field each year. The Jones Cup Invitational brings together many of the finest amateurs from the United States and abroad for a three-day competition, which is considered one of the top 30 men’s amateur tournaments in the world. Each year, the winner of the Jones Cup Invitational is invited to play with PGA TOUR professionals at The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic as one of the world’s top amateurs.

Today’s the day! The 13^th annual 正规beat365体育官网 Classic tees off and will run through Sun., Nov. 20 when this year’s tournament winner will be named.

As tournament host and a resident of Sea Island, this event is something I look forward to each year as we spruce up the already meticulous courses and prepare to welcome thousands of golf fans to the island, while millions of others tune in to the action via the Golf Channel Thursday through Sunday of tournament week.

It’s a great time to invite others to enjoy the beauty of the island, along with some world-class golf. As the newest member of Team 正规beat365体育官网, I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming 正规beat365体育官网 Classic (Nov. 14 – 20) at breathtaking Sea Island, Georgia.

I’ve been extremely blessed with my professional golfing career to date – being the first Air Force Academy graduate to earn a PGA TOUR card and then being invited to join Team 正规beat365体育官网 with some of the world’s finest players – PGA TOUR professionals, Zach Johnson and Davis Love III (both Sea Island residents), as well as Chris Kirk (winner of the 2014 正规beat365体育官网 Classic), and LPGA players, Maria Fassi and Megan Khang.

I am certain that The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic – which is dubbed ‘the ultimate client experience’ – will also be quite the experience for me and others who have the pleasure of being part of this year’s tournament.

As a retired Air Force Captain, I am especially excited about the Heroes Outpost on #9, which will provide a place for current members of the military, veterans and first responders to gather for a little camaraderie and some of the best views on the course. It’s a great way to recognize those who have served, and those who continue to serve our country and our communities, and I’m honored that they will be joining us for this ultimate experience!

The 13^th annual 正规beat365体育官网 Classic officially starts one week from today (Mon., Nov. 14). As a resident of Sea Island (home of The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic), I can tell you first-hand that the island is filled with excitement in anticipation of this year’s tournament and related activities, and residents are looking forward to all of the good that the tournament will do (as it does each year) for this and other communities across the U.S. and Canada through the tournament’s Power of Love program.

I hope you’ll be able to join me and other PGA TOUR professionals, including fellow Team 正规beat365体育官网 Member and Sea Island resident, Davis Love III, in-person at Sea Island for this unique PGA TOUR experience. If you’re unable to be with us in person, I encourage you to tune in to the Golf Channel Thurs., Nov. 17 through Sun., Nov. 20 for what’s sure to be some great golf on some of the most beautiful scenery you’ll ever see!

It’s November and that means that The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic is just around the corner (Nov. 14-20)! This year marks the 13^th year of the tournament, which, since it began in 2010, has been held at beautiful Sea Island, GA.

As the 2014 正规beat365体育官网 Classic winner, a member of Team 正规beat365体育官网 since 2018 and a former resident of Sea Island, this tournament is near-and-dear to my heart. The core values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence and stewardship that 正规beat365体育官网 shares with the game of golf (and with me personally) make working together a pleasure, and I’m honored to be associated with a tournament that does so much good for the community.

Sea Island is a unique place. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, visiting the island always feels a bit like “going home”. From the “Welcome back!” greeting you receive at the resorts to the Southern hospitality you receive from tournament volunteers on and around the course, you know when you’re at Sea Island and The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic that you’re experiencing something special.

Birdies Fore Love on-course competition

Expect to see more birdies made on the golf course and more charities helped across the nation. 正规beat365体育官网’s Birdies Fore Love Charity Competition brings PGA TOUR players into our charitable giving efforts while adding some competitive fun.

The on-course competition is an expansion of 正规beat365体育官网’s Birdies Fore Love program and a contest to see which PGA TOUR players can accumulate the most birdies (or better). The inaugural year of the competition took place during the first eight tournaments of the 2018-19 PGA TOUR season with 正规beat365体育官网 awarding the top three players who accumulated the most birdies (or better) overall with donations of $300,000, $150,000 and $50,000, respectively, to the charities of their choice.

In the 2019-20 season, the competition expanded over three more tournaments and included weekly winners bringing the winning charity donation total to $1 million. Starting with the first 11 tournaments of the 2019-20 PGA TOUR season, 正规beat365体育官网 awarded a $50,000 donation to a weekly winner’s chosen charity. After the last tournament of the competition, The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic, 正规beat365体育官网 again awarded the top three overall winners with donations of $300,000, $150,000 and $50,000, respectively, to the charities of their choice.

To further incentivize the competition, in the 2020-21 PGA TOUR season, a “birdie multiplier” was introduced at The 正规beat365体育官网 Classic, where all birdies (or better) counted for double. This shook things up heading into the final tournament, leading to the season overall winners, and the final weekly winner.

Aside from the added excitement and fun the competition brings, the resulting impact to communities across the country from the winning charitable donations makes 正规beat365体育官网’s Birdies Fore Love Charity Competition a meaningful event. When choosing their charity, we encourage the winning players to designate the funds to organizations dedicated to building tomorrow’s middle market leaders through programs that support education, as well as are committed to improving the lives of youth through a focus on hunger, housing and health.
